What is a Peer Review and Why It Matters
The AICPA Peer Review Program ensures that CPA firms maintain rigorous quality control standards in their accounting and auditing practices. This independent review evaluates how well a firm adheres to professional standards, ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and other applicable guidelines.
Firms can receive one of three ratings: pass, pass with deficiency(ies), or fail. Receiving a "pass" signifies that Bowers meets the highest standards of quality and compliance.
