Bowers Names Patricia Mills & Laurie Podvin to Firm’s Executive Committee

Bowers is pleased to announce that Patricia Mills (“Patty”) and Laurie Podvin are promoted to the Firm’s Executive Committee. Their appointment reflects the firm’s continued commitment to strong, experienced leadership at the highest level. Both partners bring extensive professional experience, a proven track record of leadership within the firm, and deep knowledge of the industries and clients the firm serves. 

Originally from Camden, New York, Patty graduated from Keuka College in 1999 with a dual major in Accounting and Business Management. Patty has been practicing in public accounting since 2002 and was the key player in establishing the Client Accounting & Advisory Services Department at Bowers which she currently leads.

Originally from Watertown, New York, Laurie graduated from Nazareth College with a B.S. in accounting in 1987. Laurie has been in public practice for thirty-six years, specializing in Not-for-Profit and Governmental auditing, specifically School Districts. Laurie is also the Partner In Charge of the Watertown office.

The Executive Committee jointly oversees strategic planning, operational priorities, and major firm initiatives, ensuring continued alignment with the firm’s long‑term goals and client‑focused mission.
