Bowers is proud to announce that Greg Jarvis, Tax Partner, has been appointed to the Board of Directors for L’Arche Syracuse, an organization dedicated to creating inclusive communities where people with and without intellectual disabilities share life together in a spirit of dignity, belonging, and mutual respect.
Greg’s appointment reflects both his professional excellence and his longstanding commitment to serving the Central New York community.
Greg earned both his B.S. in Accounting and his Master’s in Accounting from Syracuse University, completing his graduate degree in 2012. He joined Bowers Accountants & Advisors in 2020 and quickly became known for his technical expertise, dedication to client service, and leadership within the firm. In 2023, he was promoted to Partner and now serves as the leader of the firm’s Tax Technical Committee.
With more than 13 years of public accounting experience — including 11 years focused specifically on tax accounting services — Greg has built a strong reputation for helping clients navigate complex tax issues with clarity and confidence. His client portfolio spans manufacturers, construction contractors, wholesalers and retailers, as well as professional and business service organizations.
Greg’s expertise spans tax accounting services with a focus on corporate, partnership, and individual taxation. He also brings strong industry experience working with clients in construction, manufacturing, wholesale and retail, and professional and business services.
He is a Certified Public Accountant in New York State and an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA).
Greg’s selection to the L’Arche Syracuse Board of Directors underscores his passion for service, inclusion, and community leadership. In this role, he will contribute financial expertise and strategic insight to support L’Arche’s mission and continued impact in the Syracuse region.
