Originally from Syracuse, New York, Michael graduated from Syracuse University with a M.S. in Accounting in 1990, and from SUNY Oswego with a B.S. in Accounting in 1982. His other certifications include: Insurance Agent's License (Life, Variable Annuities, Accident & Health), New York. 

Mike’s areas of expertise include advisor and consultant for privately held businesses; business appraisal & valuation; mergers and acquisitions; shareholder disputes; buy/sell and shareholder agreements; estate taxation and planning; gift taxation and planning; corporate liquidations and reorganizations; bank foreclosures; tax representation before IRS and state taxing authorities.
