Bowers &
Company Signs Long-Term Lease with AXA Towers
New 7-year term lays foundation for additional growth and
affirms commitment to Downtown Syracuse
SYRACUSE, NY –
Bowers & Company, CPAs, one of upstate
New York’s leading certified public accounting and business
consulting firms, announced today that they have entered into a new
seven-year agreement to maintain their offices in the AXA Towers.
Bowers & Company currently occupies 9,000 square feet of office
space in AXA Tower I. As part of the new agreement, the firm will
lease an additional 2,000 square feet. In addition, Pioneer will
perform renovations and technology upgrades to the space valued at
over $50,000.

some of our success to our downtown location,” said

D’Avirro, co-managing partner of Bowers & Company, CPAs. “Our
central location is ideal for our employees and our clients. We
believe in the revitalization that’s happening in downtown Syracuse
and we are proud to be a part of it.”
Harry Harkaway, who acted as the leasing representative on the
transaction, praised the firm for their commitment to downtown
Syracuse. He indicated that the buildings’ new owners have pledged
to improve and reinvigorate the property and to that end are
spending several million dollars on the upgrade of both lobbies,
building infrastructure enhancements, and numerous aesthetic
improvements. The extensive construction will begin in the Fall.
AXA Towers, the twin 19 story, 635,000 square foot office complex,
built in 1969/1972, was recently purchased by Amtrust Realty Corp.,
a real estate company headquartered in New York City.
Bowers & Company, CPAs, PLLC, employs 36 people. The practice
focuses on three major areas including auditing, business consulting
and tax services.
